  My experience with him was flawless from beginning to present in all facets of the process. Sam was honest, open and happy to answer any questions. Sam was well prepared and provided in advance all and any information I required or requested. Sam really did make what I thought would be a quite daunting process relatively pain free and simple. For that I'm very thankful. I dealt with 10 agents over the course of my property search, Sam was hands down the best overall.

  Over the years, I have bought and sold about eleven properties in Queensland and currently own two units with wonderful long-term tenants. Whilst writing my memoir,I needed a quiet place to write, so rented a tiny unit through Doug Disher Real Estate, Toowong, Brisbane. I have had some horrible experiences with Real Estate agents, but never as bad as the way appalling treatment which I received from Doug Disher. The property was filthy, unsafe and ongoing maintenance issues were never addressed. I only rented it, at $300.00 a week because there was nothing else available quiet and close by my family. As a renter, I was treated as a second-class citizen with no respect what so-ever. Despite leaving the premises cleaner than what I found them, including the outdoors etc. I was accused otherwise and charged for maintenance by tradesman that I did not incur. Doug-Disher refused to refund my bond, so I went to the R.T.A., who despite knowing from all the evidence that I was not in the wrong, were not able to resolve the issue. I had no choice but to proceed to court, where, of course, I won my case. I got the distinct impression that Doug Disher were in a habit of doing this with this particular owner and that they had gotten away with it in the past because no-one had challenged them on it. It didn't work with me because I had the time, money, and knowledge of my rights to pursue the case. Elderly people or people from overseas would not have fared so well. So I strongly suggest that people stay away from Doug-Disher if they don't want a bad experience.

  As tenants we were treated with the utmost respect. The level of customer service was far and away better than any other Real Estate Agent, that we have rented with in Australia.
